What is the Thin Mint Sprint?

The Thin Mint Sprint 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk is an opportunity for all runners, first-time racers, Girl Scouts, and families to celebrate healthy living!

How much is the entry fee for Girl Scout members?

There is a $25.00 entry fee + processing fee for all registered Girl Scout member in Kindergarten and older. (Those not yet in Kindergarten are free.) The entry free for Girl Scout members will increase to $30 on September 8, and increase to $35 on race day. All that register before September 8 will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

How much is the entry fee for non-Girl Scout members?

Entry fee for non-Girl Scout members will be $30.00 + processing fees with prices increasing to $35.00 on September 8, and increasing to $40 on race day. All that register before September 8 will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

What is the Tagalong Trot? How much is the entry fee?

This is our 1-mile fun run! It is open to all as well, even strollers! It will begin at 9:00 a.m. So grab the whole family and get ready to "Live Healthy and Lead Healthy". (No pets, though!) The entry fee for our Tagalong Trot is $10.00 per person. The fee will increase to $15 on September 8.

No, there will be no refunds.

What information do I need to pick up my packet or a friend's packet?

Please bring identification with you to get your own packet and a copy of your friend's identification to pick up his/her packet.

Where and when do I pick up my race packet?

Packets can be picked up at the Hardesty Leadership Center, 4810 South 129th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74134 on Thursday, October 12 or Friday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Packets will NOT be mailed out, but there is an option to pick up on the day of the race.

What is a race packet?

A race packet contains your race bib, timing chip, and your Thin Mint Sprint t-shirt. All registered Girl Scouts will also receive a Thin Mint Sprint patch!

What time should I arrive for the race?

For the 5K, we encourage you to arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. If you are doing the 1-mile fun run, please arrive by 8:30 a.m.

Where do I park on race day?

Parking will be available at St. John's Business Center (next door to GSEOK). There will be council representatives giving parking direction the morning of, please watch for signage and people!

What should I bring to the race?

Wear your t-shirt and bring your running legs! Get together with your troop and/or family and add your own personal touch! (Tutus, crazy socks, face paint, etc.)

What about water? Restrooms?

Water will be available along the course and there will be restrooms at the start/end of the race.

What happens after the race?

After the race, we will celebrate! Nibble on a Girl Scout cookie, browse the area and learn about healthy living, and play with your friends. Enjoy fun activities for the whole family!

What happens if there is inclement weather on race day?

There is not a rain date for this event; it will take place rain or shine.

Will there be any medals handed out?

Medals will be awarded to the overall male/female winners and to the top 3 in each age group.

What if I can't make it to the race that day?

If you can't make the event but want to support Girl Scouts, register as a virtual runner for $30.00 + processing fees by September 8 and receive a Thin Mint Sprint t-shirt and a box of Thin Mints. If you are a Girl Scout girl member, you will also receive a Thin Mint Sprint patch!
