DISCOVER, CONNECT and TAKE ACTION as a Cadette Program Aide (PA). Program Aide training is for those girls who enjoy working with younger girls. The Cadette PA will learn to plan activities in which she can teach, lead discussions, or plan activities with younger Girl Scouts using the GSLE processes of girl led, cooperative learning and learning by doing. The course includes planning and presenting individual projects as part of the learning experience. This is a special training program that will make it possible for you to work directly with a troop, group, or day camp unit of younger Girl Scouts under the supervision of an adult leader or staff member. Girls attend a PA Core Training and then are eligible to attend specialization modules. To become a Program Aide: - Be a registered Girl Scout Cadette.
- Girls must have earned one LiA award prior to the Core Training.
