Introduction to Canoe course, taught by ACA Certified Instructors, is
the first step toward advanced canoeing activities and courses on rivers
and lakes. DISCOVER a great new skill by spending the weekend learning
basic information on boat control, paddling apparel, potential hazards,
and simple rescues. After learning an entry level of paddling skill, you
will be able to safely and effectively maneuver on flat-water. In
between two days of paddling instruction, relax overnight at Camp
Participants must be in good physical condition and able to tread water and swim in water over their heads.
$20.00 A deposit of $10.00 is due upon
registration. You may request up to $10.00 of Cookie Credit or financial
assistance for this activity.

volunteer is needed to assist with meals and the overnight portion of
