Cadette Program Aides can qualify to lead additional activities beyond what they learned in their Core Training. Plan to attend the Camping 1 Specialization Module and have fun while you learn how to plan, prepare for, and teach camping skills to younger Girl Scouts. Once completed, a Cadette Program Aide may assist a Troop Camper in planning and carrying out a cookout in both the troop campout and the day camp setting. The Program Aide will learn how to help younger girls plan and prepare for their campout and stay safe. Program Aides will also learn techniques for helping girls explore the out-of-doors using their five senses. This session includes staying overnight at Camp Swannie.
