Are you currently a Girl Scout in grades 9-11 and going to be in grades 10-12 in the 2014/2015 school year? Are you interested in learning more about how Girl Scouts function at the national level? Are you willing to share about your experiences with other Girl Scouts?
Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is excited to provide this council-sponsored travel opportunity for selected Girl Scouts to attend the Girl Scout Leadership Institute and the National Convention of Girl Scouts of the USA in Salt Lake City, Utah in October 2014! The Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLI) theme is “Girls Change the World.”Girls will participate as part of an integrated track within the National Convention. GSLI will begin on Thursday morning and culminate on Sunday morning. GSLI participants will be included in the National Convention Opening Ceremony as well as other convention related events.
If this sounds like something you want to do, then you should apply for the opportunity to attend the Girl Scout Leadership Institute and the National Convention of Girl Scouts of the USA. Our group will leave from the Tulsa International Airport on October 15, 2014 and return to Tulsa late in the evening on October 19, 2014.
The fee for this activity is $250.00 per girl. Cookie Credit may be used after the deposit is made.
