You can make a difference in the life
of a child in just one hour a week.Reading
Partners connects passionate volunteers with struggling readers to help
students build strong literacy skills, gain confidence, and discover a passion
for reading. You can be a mentor, a leader, and a friend to student in need. We
need your help to ensure we are serve as many students as possible in the
2013-2014 school year!
Partners is a national education nonprofit that works with elementary schools
to support students who are reading 6 months to 2.5 years below grade-level. We
are one of the most successful one-on-one reading non-profits in the U.S., on
average helping our students double their rate of learning - you can see more

Partners provides our tutors with:
A highly-effective and easy-to-follow curriculum
training and on-site support from a full-time staff member
opportunity to help a student double their rate of learning
This year we will serve over 360 students across 9 Tulsa
elementary schools and need your help to make a difference in the life of a
child- be a hero! As we begin recruiting volunteers for Tulsa,
we want to make this easy:
Formal Education Experience Required
come from all walks of life- high school to retirees
commit a minimum of 1 hour a week for a semester
will look forward to partnering with you this year. Our Outreach Coordinator,
