The Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is
pleased to announce that it has named Regina Moon as its new Chief
Executive Officer effective June 1, 2021.
“Our board of
directors is excited to bring a leader with Regina’s background to
guide the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma into the next chapter”, said
Board Chair, Paula Kuykendall. “She brings 20 years of leadership
experience in Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma with the last 12 years
serving nonprofits as the Executive Director of the American Red Cross
– Northeast Oklahoma Territory and most recently as the CEO of The
Parent Child Center of Tulsa”.
Regina’s appointment
concludes a four-month local and national search with the
consideration of several excellent candidates by our executive search
committee led by GSEOK Board member, Nancy Austin.
Moon
will succeed Roberta Preston, who is retiring after 10 and half years
of service to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. The Board extends
its deep appreciation and gratitude for her dedication, passion and
visionary leadership in serving the Girl Scouts of Eastern
Oklahoma.
Please join the Board of Directors of Girl
