About this Event

Join us for a night of hand-on activities meant to inspire kids and engage them in STEAM! Activities include:

ASTRONAUT CHATS with NASA shuttle pilot Col. Paul Lockhart

INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES

  • Moon coding with Ozobots: Learn how to code an Ozobot to explore the moon.
  • Roving on the Moon map with Sphero: Travel around the moon using Sphero. Watch out for the craters!
  • AR Flashcards: Use Augmented Reality (AR) to discover what’s in our solar system in an unique way.)
  • 100-foot solar system: Examine the distance between the planets if we were shrink down our entire solar system to 100 feet.
  • Apollo Cut-out: Make a replica of the Apollo capsule that traveled to the Moon and back.
  • Moon Phases wheel: Observe the 8 different phases of the Moon that we see from Earth every month.
