CosmoCamp

Mission: Lunar Trek, July 9-14, 2023

• Prepare for Space and train like an astronaut!
• Crew: 13 girl members.
• Eligible: Girls currently in 9th thru 11th grade.
• Mission: Land on the moon using the Cosmospheres Mission Control Center.
• Learn and apply the physics of flight with powered airplane training
• Learn and operate drones. Take drone photography pictures.
• Build underwater ROVs and retrieve rocket parts from the depths of a pool.
• Dive into exciting worlds using virtual reality technology.
• Build team communication and problem-solving skills on Cosmospheres CosmoWorks Challenge Course.

We will need 1 chaperone to attend the event with us. The fee is $375 and supplements housing and meals.

Mandatory Girl Meeting: Friday, 6/23 @ 7pm

Mandatory Adult/Girl Meeting: Saturday, 6/24 @ 10am

Meetings will be at the Girl Scout office and more information will be sent after registration deadline

Day of camp: Arrive/Load Van: 7:30 am on 7/9/2023 @ Council, Departure time: 8:00 am for Hutchinson Kansas, CosmoCamp
