Melissa Bogle Named CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma

June 02, 2025

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Melissa Bogle as the permanent Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. Since stepping into the interim role in January, Melissa has led our council with thoughtfulness, clarity, enthusiasm, and deep community insight—bringing continued direction and stability to GSEOK.

A familiar name in Tulsa’s nonprofit and civic circles, Melissa has led across industries for more than three decades, from healthcare and media to legal and government. Her leadership has touched over 200 local and national organizations, and her commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and mission-driven work perfectly aligns with our values.

During her time as interim CEO, Melissa strengthened our council’s operations, fostered key community relationships, and helped lay the groundwork for a new era of growth. Now, with her appointment as

CEO, she’s poised to continue advancing our mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character.

“I have always been passionate about helping instill the belief in girls that they can do anything and be anything," Melissa shared. “I’m inspired every day by the resilience and leadership of the girls we serve. It is an honor to serve this girl-led organization and I look forward to building on the Girl Scout legacy and helping create even more opportunities for girls to thrive.”

Nancy Austin, Board Chair of Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, echoed this sentiment:

“Melissa’s thoughtful, purpose-driven leadership has already brought positive momentum to our council,” Austin said. “She’s someone who truly listens and inspires confidence in everyone around her. Her ability to balance operational excellence with a genuine commitment to our mission is exactly what sets her apart. I look forward to the future of Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma with her at the helm.”
