Camp Swannie

Located on the John Zink Scout Ranch, Camp Swannie provides troops with many activity opportunities. Sleeping facilities include a lodge, log cabin, yurts, and a tenting area. In addition, the Frontier Village offers three buildings: the Hotel, Newspaper Office, and Sheriff’s Office.

The Tallchief pool, low ropes challenge course, and Lake Tallchief are all within easy hiking distance along well-defined trails. Swannie also has a pond for fishing, an archery range, and access to hiking trails. Swannie is available for troop camping mid-August through mid-May with a variety of winterized facilities. Camp Swannie is closed to troop camping from late May to August.
