Flex Troops are a new way to Girl Scout at Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. They are built for busy families who want everything a traditional troop offers, with additional support from trained Girl Scout staff. In a Flex Troop, leadership is shared.
Our staff handle much of the planning and facilitation, and parent volunteers partner alongside them. Your Girl Scout still gets the badges, the field trips, the cookie program, the friendships, and the leadership experience. You just do not have to carry it all on your own.

Why did we create Flex Troops?
The number one thing we hear from interested families is that the leadership commitment feels out of reach. Flex Troops let us meet families where they are by rebalancing what parents carry and what our staff provide.
Our hope is simple: open doors in communities we have not reached yet, so that every girl in eastern Oklahoma who wants to be a Girl Scout has a troop to join.
