Ways to Camp

At camp, girls develop the kind of outdoor skills it’s hard to get anywhere else and during their camp experience, girls will find out how much fun it can be to unplug and explore the world around them.

Whether they attend day camp, resident camp, or camp with their troop, Girl Scout Camp is the ultimate adventure and pinnacle Girl Scout experience!

VOLUNTEER-LED DAY CAMP

100% volunteer-planned & volunteer-led, Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma offers day camps in several locations throughout our council! Day camp is a great introduction to the outdoors for young campers. Experience the fun of camp, then head home each evening. Day camps also provide an opportunity for older campers to practice leadership skills as Program Aides.

TROOP CAMPING

Camping fun doesn’t have to wait for summer, you can also make camp memories year-round by troop camping.  Troop Camping is the perfect way for girls and volunteers to experience the great outdoors together. Girls will bond, work together and support one another while building campfires, taking hikes, and creating crafts. Our beautiful camp properties offer something for every troop!

SUMMER RESIDENT CAMP

Summer resident camp is an overnight outdoor experience for Girl Scouts entering grades 2-12. Campers experience independence as they challenge themselves to try something new, build self-confidence, and make new friends in an encouraging environment.

CAMP PROPERTIES

Discover nature and experience the adventure, fun, friendship, and beauty of the outdoors at one of our beautiful camp properties! Camping is a vital part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, often providing girls with their first opportunity to ride a horse, swim, canoe, or take on a challenge with a group. Staying at a camp property is a true outdoor adventure and each of the properties offers something unique and fun for everyone!
