Gilcrease Museum

Gilcrease Museum offers a Scout Patch Tour. It is designed to encourage an interest in art through a museum visit. The tour does work towards a patch that can be purchased in the museum’s store. For more information about scheduling your visit, click here.

Woody Guthrie Center

The Woody Guthrie Center is more than a museum; instead, it is a center of investigation for inspiration. By providing examples of Woody’s ability to use his creativity as a way of expressing the world around him, we hope to encourage others to find their voices and the power that lies within the creative process. Operation Aware

Equipping young people with the communication, decision making, problem solving, and relationship skills needed to be strong, confident leaders of tomorrow.

Who: Girl Scout Troops in 3rd grade and above.
Fee: $150 for troops up to 30 girls.

Asthma Awareness

MedExpress Urgent Care Badge Program

Troop leaders can schedule 1 hour for their "MedExpress First Aid Badge Program" for up 10-15 girls at a time. MedExpress will provide a guided tour of the facility for each of the girls in attendance. Girls will be presented with a fruity first aid/germ demonstration, be exposed to industry professionals in STEM, and will gain a better understanding of potential careers in medicine. Each girl will be provided with a first aid kit including gloves, gauze, bandages and ointment. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion and an embroidered MedExpress patch.

Payne County Youth Service Inc

Payne County Youth Services Inc has a few opportunities for troops. Juniors to work towards their Independence Badge, Cadettes to work towards their babysitting badge. Girls 11-18 can take a suicide prevention course. These opportunities  have limitations for service area - Payne County or within 60 miles of Stillwater.

Calling all sun safety advocates! Outrun the Sun 'Sun Safety Patch' program includes interactive activities that are bound to teach your Girl Scouts the importance of protection while becoming experts in the practices of sun safety during all your troop outdoor activities. Solar United Neighbors

S.T.E.M.

STEM 4 Scouts

STEM 4 Scouts is a non-profit program dedicated to bringing computer science education to Girl Scouts. To date, they have helped over 3,000 Girl Scouts earn their STEM-related badges through free virtual workshops. They support troops through virtual workshops, pre-recorded learning materials, and individual troop sessions.

Discovery Lab, opening in our new location at 31st and Riverside soon, brings the excitement of hands-on learning opportunities to you! The museum has an extensive catalog of STEAM and Health and Wellness offerings led by experienced museum educators that can be presented at the museum or through outreach as badge or troop activities.

Code Ninjas Tulsa

Code Ninjas Tulsa has hosted many Girl Scout troops over the past couple of years to help them earn their technology badges. We offer workshops in Coding for Coding, Cybersecurity, and Robotics. Click here to learn more and schedule your badge workshop!

Skype A Scientist

Skype a Scientist has a database of thousands of scientists and helps them connect with scout troops, classrooms, families, and more all over the globe for FREE! We allow girls to get to know a real scientist and get the answers to their questions straight from the source. You can request a specific scientist from our list of  available scientists, or select a general category, and we connect you with your scientist match to select the best time for your group to connect. Engineering Your Future Today

Designed to make earning a Girl Scout badge stress-free, our Badge Kits include everything you need to complete a badge- with easy-to-follow instructions, supplies, and even delivered straight to your door!

Volunteers can order multiple kits for their troop or individuals can order kits for their girls. You can enjoy the activities at home, during a troop meeting in-person, or even during a virtual troop meeting. We offer kits for the Entrepreneur, The Science of Happiness, Robotics, Mechanical Engineer, Automotive, and other STEM kits for all program levels.
