Despite age or wealth, anyone can leave a legacy gift. Through
a planned gift, you can support girls today with cash or stock, or
design a plan as part of your estate that benefits our girl and adult
members after your lifetime.
Here are a few Planned/Legacy Giving options for your consideration:
Bequest by Will
You can make a bequest at any age by adding a codicil to an
existing will or drafting a new one. This allows you to leave a legacy
while maintaining the assets you need for your current lifestyle. In
addition, you may generate a tax savings.
To include Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma in your legal
documentation, we recommend consulting your attorney or financial
advisor. You can establish a new will or trust, or simply amend the
existing document. Please use the legal name of our organization (Girl
Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, Inc.).
