Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is excited for Girl Scouts to showcase their entrepreneurial skills selling Girl Scout Cookies this season. Consumers will be able to purchase their favorite flavors for the same prices they experienced last year when our season launches on January 20, 2024. When you purchase Girl Scout Cookies you are getting more than a sweet treat; all the proceeds stay local to help power amazing experiences for Girl Scouts in your community.
Which councils are raising their cookie prices?
Each of the 111 Girl Scout councils manages the Girl Scout Cookie Program locally. Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma will not have an increase in 2024.
Who decides whether there will be an increase? Why are some councils adjusting the price and others are not?
Any price adjustments are determined at the Girl Scout council level.
As with many industries, rising costs have resulted in Girl Scout councils in some areas facing the tough decision to raise their prices for the upcoming season. Each of the 111 councils operates as its own 501c3 organization, and council leaders make the decisions that best serve their members. All cookie proceeds remain local, helping to power amazing experiences for Girl Scouts in your community.
