Get back in the Saddle! Back in the Saddle is a two-hour program that builds on skills that you might have learned in our Pony Pals, Junior Horseback Riding Workshop, or our week long Resident Camp Equestrian Sessions. Spend a little bit more time in the saddle working on your riding skills with your favorite horses while navigating an obstacle course. Participants will learn to safely approach, lead, groom, and saddle their own horses, as well as basic control at a walk. Start learning to ride independently and lay the foundation for great horsemanship!
Back in the Saddle or Junior Horseback Badge Workshop is a requirement for Trail Ride Sessions.
This is a troop event. Girls must attend with their leader or a parent/guardian. Leaders must follow all guidelines for a daytime activity including adult/girl ratio. Leaders must have attended Beyond the Meeting Training and have signed permission slips. No tagalongs.
Riders must wear longs pants (preferably jeans) and boots with a 1/2" heel.
