Join us for a day of outdoor adventure at Monarchs on the Mountain!
This free community event at Chandler Park is
open to all Girl Scout levels and their families.
Girls can explore bug-themed booths, take a nature walk, watch a live
monarch butterfly tagging demonstration, and complete a fun
Activity Bingo to learn all about bugs and their
role in the ecosystem.
There's no registration fee - just come ready to explore and have fun in nature!
🌳 Look for the Girl Scout booth near the Community
Center when you arrive to pick up your Activity Bingo card.
🌼 Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors can also register separately for the Bugs Badge Activity from 1-3 PM at the Hardesty Leadership Center (HLC), where they'll complete all steps to earn their Bugs Badge through hands-on crafts and planting.
All adults are responsible for maintaining adult-to-girl ratios and must stay with the children they bring. Troops must have a leader with Beyond the Meeting training and an adult with current First Aid/CPR certification. All standard travel guidelines apply, including permission slips, green sheets, and proper supervision.
