Discover local outdoor art with Jamie Pierson, a talented Tulsa public artist and designer, as she leads you on an artistic journey at the Zink Lake Overlook Murals (a project she managed!). With her extensive experience in leading workshops, Jamie brings a wealth of creativity and knowledge to this hands-on presentation. Learn about her inspiring journey as a woman artist while exploring the importance of community and empowering the next generation of creators. Girls will unleash their inner artists by designing, sketching, and painting a collaborative mural with Jamie's guidance. This engaging program combines art appreciation and hands-on creativity, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.
For this program, Daisies will earn steps for their "Art and Design" badge, Brownies for their "Outdoor Art Creator" badge, and Juniors for their "Outdoor Art Explorer" badge.
If attending as a troop, troops must have leadership present who completed the Beyond the Meeting training and an adult who has a current First Aid/CPR-training. Troops must follow all guidelines for trips outside the regular troop meeting, which includes permission slips, green sheets, and girl/adult ratio.
An individual girl may register with an attending caregiver.
