Along the way, you and your fellow travelers will get to decide on the activities, from exploring San Diego Zoo or hitting the beach, to discovering Hollywood or maybe even Disneyland. You'll gain travel tips, learn how to plan a trip, and have say in the exciting stops and sights we explore. It's California, your way - so get ready for an unforgettable adventure that's as unique as you are!
To join this exciting trip, interested Girl Scouts must complete a short application and go through a selection process. Applicants must be at least 13 years old by June 1, 2026. Girl Scouts selected for the trip will be required to attend two virtual prep and planning meetings and one in-person meeting with a caregiver. The dates for these meetings will be provided after selection. The trip will take place during Spring Break 2026, with exact dates announced after the application deadline.
Trip fee is $1,300 with a $100 non-refundable deposit due upon selection. This cost covers transportation, lodging, breakfast and dinner each day, entrance fees, insurance, and travel shirts. Lunch is not included, so each Girl Scout will be responsible for lunch expenses daily.

All travelers selected for the trip must adhere the follow payment schedule/cancellation policy:
- Program Fee for trip includes a non-refundable deposit due at time of trip selection.
- Payment is due in full by February 15, 2026.
- If you choose to cancel your trip, your refund
will vary based upon how soon the trip is occurring. Your deposit is
non-refundable under any circumstances. Any portion of a Girl
Scout's trip fee that has already been spent, will not be refunded,
EX. if plane tickets have been purchased, the value of those tickets
will be deducted from your refund
- 90-240 days prior to trip. 50% refund of trip fees paid, less deposit and any portion of paid trip fees that has already been spent
- 90 days prior to trip: No refund will be given
- If Girl Scout cancels the trip, any funds earned through travel troop, or money-earning opportunities stay with the travel troop
