Juniors - Build a Birdhouse at Sutton Avian Research Facility
Join us in Bartlesville for an exciting hands on program as earn your Animal Habitats Badge! Girl Scouts will discover where animals live, how they play, and how humans can help protect their homes.
During this program, Juniors will:
Build and paint their very own birdhouse to take home
Experience live bird deomonstrations from Sutton's experts
Learn how to help protect wild animals and their habitats
Important notes:
Please wear closed-toed shoes (no Crocs, flip flops or sandals)
We'll be painting with acrylics. Aprons are provided, but wear clothes that can get messy.
This is a troop event, troops must have leadership present who completed the Beyond the Meeting training and an adult who has a current First Aid/CPR-training. Troops must follow all guidelines for trips outside the regular troop meeting, which includes permission slips, green sheets, and girl/adult ratio.
An individual girl may register with an attending caregiver.
