Grab your gardening gloves and get ready to grow! Junior Girl Scouts are invited to the Teaching Garden at Woodward Park for a hands-on gardening experience hosted in partnership with the Tulsa Garden Club. Girls will explore the beauty and creativity of gardening while completing requirements toward their Gardener badge.
During this outdoor learning experience, girls will visit a garden and discover what makes a garden thrive. They will explore different garden designs, learn how gardeners choose plants based on their environment, and experiment with seeds to better understand how plants grow. Through hands-on activities and exploration, girls will build confidence, connect with nature, and discover the science and creativity behind gardening.
