Badge: You Choose
Get your hands dirty and your curiosity growing at Garden Girls! Troops are invited to reserve a time slot at the Teaching Garden and "borrow the garden" for a flexible, self-guided badge experience.
Leaders can choose the badge they'd like their troop to work on, and our garden experts will be on-site to support learning, answer questions, and help guide girls through key badge steps. A variety of tools and supplies will be available to help bring your chosen badge to life-whether girls are planting, exploring ecosystems, or discovering how gardens grow.
This is a great opportunity for troops to enjoy the outdoors, learn by doing, and make progress on badges in a supportive, hands-on environment-while still keeping the experience troop-led and flexible.
There is no Council provided programming for this event, troops are responsible for selecting the badge, the experts at the garden are there to help guide you. You are "renting" out the teaching garden and using their tools, equipment and experts. Each girl will receive a garden based fun patch.
This is a session event. You will sign up for a time slot and that time is the only time you need to be at the event.
