Step up your cybersecurity skills! In this advanced workshop, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors will explore critical aspects of digital safety and technology. Girls will learn about secure passwords, two-factor authentication, and encryption, and test problem-solving skills with Rube Goldberg activities. They'll discuss cyberwarfare and career opportunities in cybersecurity, explore hacking methods like social engineering and "man-in-the-middle" attacks, and participate in hands-on encryption activities. Girls will also see how computers multitask and learn about steganography through interactive demos. Participants will earn their Cybersecurity Badge while developing advanced skills and gaining a deeper understanding of technology and digital security. Badge Included!
If attending as a troop, troops must have leadership present who completed the Beyond the Meeting training and an adult who has a current First Aid/CPR-training. Troops must follow all guidelines for trips outside the regular troop meeting, which includes permission slips, green sheets, and girl/adult ratio.
An individual girl may register with an attending caregiver.
