Get ready to become a mini cybersecurity expert! In this interactive workshop, Daisies and Brownies will dive into the exciting world of technology and digital safety. Girls will explore computer parts by taking apart and reassembling real computers, participate in a network activity to understand how devices communicate, and discuss the many ways technology impacts our daily lives. They'll also learn about online safety through videos and discussions, and protect a "castle" from a dragon attack while discovering the layers of cybersecurity, including passwords, firewalls, and multi-factor authentication. Girls will earn their Cybersecurity Badge while having fun exploring, learning, and taking their first steps in understanding the digital world! Badge Included!
If attending as a troop, troops must have leadership present who completed the Beyond the Meeting training and an adult who has a current First Aid/CPR-training. Troops must follow all guidelines for trips outside the regular troop meeting, which includes permission slips, green sheets, and girl/adult ratio.
An individual girl may register with an attending caregiver.
