Camp Scholarship Application – Deadline March 23, 2026

Camp scholarships are available to help ensure every girl has the opportunity to experience the magic of camp, regardless of financial circumstances. To allow scholarship funds to stretch further and support as many campers as possible, scholarships are limited to one session per camper each summer. We encourage families to apply, and our team is committed to making camp accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for all Girl Scouts.

Application can be completed here: #330 Girl Scholarship Request

Teen Leadership Opportunities toggle arrow

Share your camp enthusiasm with younger girls as you strengthen your outdoor skills and develop your own leadership style. Build teamwork, learn practical problem solving and earn leadership awards. Younger campers will be excited by the skills you can teach them!

7th Grade: Leader in Action (LiA) unit for Cadettes. They will work with a Girl Scout Brownie group on Journey activities. This award is a prerequisite to earn the Program Aide Award. (Most (not all) day camps offer a LiA option).

8th-12th Grade: Be a Program Aide (PA) at day camp! Lead younger campers and create memories you’ll never forget. Day Camp Program Aides work with an adult mentor to fine-tune your leadership skill throughout the week. Prerequisite for Role: Successfully completed GSEOK’s Program Aide Training.

Volunteer Information toggle arrow

GSEOK’s day camps are designed and facilitated by volunteers in your local community. Encourage curiosity and inspire adventurers by volunteering at day camp! No expertise in camping required.

For each day of camp, one adult is needed for every five to eight girls to follow girl to adult ratio. That means adults from each family and/or troop are needed to volunteer to make camp happen. Recruit aunts, uncles, grandparents, college students, past campers, and friends.  The number of girls accepted for camp depends on the number of adult volunteers.
