This spring, our Council’s Staff-Led program brought the power of Girl Scouting to five Tulsa-area schools, reaching more than 200 girls in just a few short months. Each troop, led by our dedicated team of Yolanda, Lori, and Megan, celebrated the end of their season with a personalized Court of Awards ceremony—an opportunity to recognize every girl’s progress, dedication, and growth.
At the final ceremony of the season, held at McClure Elementary, families gathered to celebrate the girls’ accomplishments. Each Girl Scout was proudly presented with the badges she earned during her 12–16 week journey—walking away not only with new skills, but with a sense of pride and belonging.
The Staff-Led model makes Girl Scouting accessible in schools and community centers where a traditional troop may not exist—ensuring every girl has the chance to grow into a leader, no matter her background or circumstance.
With spring complete, the team is taking a short (and well-earned) break before launching an expanded summer program at six locations—including the Dream Center (North & West), two apartment complexes, and two Boys & Girls Clubs.
Thank you to everyone who supports this work. The impact is real—and it’s growing, one girl at a time.
