Thanks to a $3,500 RISE grant from the Bartlesville Regional United Way, Camp Wah-Shah-She in Bartlesville will host Pumpkin Palooza on November 7, 2026. This council-wide, fall-themed event is focused on STEAM and is designed to help Girl Scouts of all grade levels build creativity, develop engineering skills, and more.
This event features three connected experiences: a K–5th Grade Game Makers Challenge, a 6th–12th Grade Pumpkin Chunkin Competition, and a community-wide Fall Festival. Younger girls will design and build interactive game booths using recycled materials, while older girls will construct pumpkin launchers and demonstrate their engineering skills. During the festival, families and community members will visit booths, watch live demonstrations, and celebrate the girls’ achievements.
Pumpkin Palooza is more than a festival. It’s a girl-led, hands-on experience that builds resilience, teamwork, and leadership — and empowers girls to see themselves as future innovators and changemakers. By bringing this experience to Bartlesville, GSEOK is reducing travel barriers and expanding access to high-quality STEAM programming closer to home.
Registration for Pumpkin Palooza will open later this fall, so check gseok.org for updates!
