Kaitlyn designed Project Pink to teach Girl Scouts about food insecurity and encourage them to make a difference. She created a meeting guide, a fun patch, and a Dropbox with resources for others to use. Through her project, Kaitlyn not only raised awareness but also inspired others to take action by participating in food drives and advocating for local solutions to hunger. She ensured that her project would have a lasting effect by making all of her materials accessible to other troops.
Kaitlyn has been a Girl Scout for 13 years and is a member of Troop 2188. She is currently a cosmetology student.
