(Tulsa, OK) Melissa Bogle has been named Interim Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma (GSEOK), effective January 6. She will provide leadership to the organization on an interim basis following the retirement of former CEO Regina Moon, until a permanent CEO is appointed.
Bogle has been an executive leader in the Tulsa community for three decades, across industries including healthcare, legal, financial, government and media and has served over 200 local and national nonprofit, civic, government, school, community, religious, and professional organizations both personally and professionally over the course of her career. Bogle notes that “Tulsa is stronger because of our amazing nonprofit community, and I am eager to lead one of its most well-known agencies during this transition.”
Bogle is a certified as a Certified Nonprofit Interim Executive through the Interim Executive Academy, and will utilize her executive leadership, operations, strategic planning, DE&I, community relations, and employee engagement skills to lead GSEOK while the organization completes the search for a permanent CEO. “We are thrilled to have Melissa serve in an interim capacity while we execute a thoughtful, thorough search for the Council’s next leader and know she will provide steady leadership while we conduct this process,” said Nancy Austin, Board Chair.
